American Psychological Association Meeting 2006 Report
Greetings from Routledge and Psychology Press at the 2006 annual meeting of the American Psychological Association, held this year in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The annual meeting of the American Psychological Association was held in New Orleans this year, and Routledge and Psychology Press were pleased to display our new and forthcoming titles. Even though attendance was down almost 50% from the past few years, many excellent presentations, workshops, and exhibits welcomed delegates who braved the heat and humidity to make the trip this year.

Marketing Managers Kevin Williams (Psychology Press, at right) and Marcus Hinds (Routledge) run a smooth operation at the booth.

Scott Lilienfeld (right) discusses his forthcoming book, The Great Ideas of Clinical Science: 17 Principles Every Mental Health Professional Should Understand, with Routledge Publishing Director, George Zimmar.

Routledge Editor Dana Bliss (center) pauses for a minute at the booth.

Deborah Beidel was on hand to sign copies of her new book, Childhood Anxiety Disorders: A Guide to Research and Treatment.
Also taking time to sign books and meet attendees were Jon Carlson (The Client Who Changed Me: Stories of Therapist Personal Transformation), Nick Cummings (Destructive Trends in Mental Health: The Well-Intentioned Path to Harm), and Jay Lebow (Research for the Psychotherapist: From Science to Practice).

Psychology Press Senior Editor Paul Dukes (right) takes an order at the booth.

Routledge mental health journals were on display at the convention, including the newly launched Journal of Positive Psychology and The Journal of Muslim Mental Health.
Thank you to our friends, colleagues, authors, and customers who helped to make this a successful conference. We will look forward to seeing all of you again next year in San Francisco, CA, August 17 - 20, 2007!
